Impact Of Demographic Variables On Teachers’ Working Conditions And Job Satisfaction At Secondary School Level In District Sialkot, Pakistan

Abstract

 This study explored Impact of Demographic Variables on Teachers’ Working Conditions and Job Satisfaction at Secondary School Level in District Sialkot, Pakistan. A quantitative and descriptive research design was employed. The sample consisted of 320 teachers selected through proportionate stratified random sampling. Data were collected using standardized questionnaires on working conditions (mass tells) developed by Johnson, Kraft, & Papay in (2012) and the second survey was used to measured teachers’ job satisfaction was teachers job satisfaction survey (TJSS), this scale was developed by Ngimbudzi in (2009). Inferential statistics (t-test, one-way between-groups ANOVA) was used to analyze the data.
