Abstract

Fiction is an important form of literary expression that reflects the cultural values, social realities, and imaginative traditions of a society. The district of Bunir District, located in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Pakistan, has a rich tradition of storytelling and fictional narratives rooted in local culture and oral heritage. This study examines the key features of fiction found in Bunir, focusing on themes, narrative style, characterization, and the influence of local traditions. The fictional works and narratives from the region often portray social life, tribal customs, moral values, and the everyday experiences of the community. Elements such as imagination, symbolism, and moral lessons are commonly used to convey deeper meanings and cultural messages. Additionally, the natural landscape, historical background, and social structure of Bunir strongly influence the development of fictional narratives. Through the analysis of selected stories and literary examples, the study highlights how fiction in Bunir not only serves as a form of entertainment but also acts as a medium for cultural preservation and social reflection.
