Abstract

The Pakistani criminal justice system, like many others around the world, operates within a framework of laws and constitutional provisions aimed at maintaining order, ensuring justice, and protecting the rights of citizens. This research article delves into the structure, functioning, and challenges of the criminal justice system in Pakistan, focusing on its legal and constitutional dimensions. Through a comprehensive analysis of relevant laws, constitutional provisions, and case studies, this study aims to provide insights into the strengths and weaknesses of the Pakistani criminal justice system, as well as recommendations for improvement.
