Abstract
The Code of Civil Procedure establishes a thorough and effective mechanism for the trial of a lawsuit, from its inception to its conclusion. Rules adopted into the Code are intended to promote the legal system rather than to undermine its goals. The provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure 1908 emerged and were accepted as a result of many years of experience with English common law. In 2020, the Provincial Assembly of KPK implemented various procedural amendments known as the "amended code of civil procedure 1908 (Act V of 1908)". Over which lawyers are striking at the response to those amendments, which were also challenged in the High Court. Lawyers believe that it will reduce the number of civil cases and that they will be unable to charge large/massive fees to their clients on a regular basis, and that the CPC modifications have completely altered the civil trial, appeals, review and revision, and case conduct procedures In 2020, the Provincial Assembly of KPK made significant procedural reforms known as the "amended code of civil procedure 1908 (Act V of 1908)".
